Here are a few of the many, many links of environmental sites on the internet.  Rather than just provide a long list of links, I have tried to provide each organization's goal or mission statement to give you some sort of clue as to the type of work they perform.  The sites are listed randomly.  I have given the address of each site under the description, but clicking on the owl picture will immediately take you to the website
 
Greenpeace International: Greenpeace is an independent, campaigning organisation which uses non-violent, creative confrontation to expose global environmental problems, and to force the solutions which are essential to a green and peaceful future.  Greenpeace's goal is to ensure the ability of the earth to nurture life in all its diversity.
